My hubby and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary last weekend. To mark the occasion we headed out for a slap up meal in Bindles, Worcester. The food was delicious! I may cheekily ask them for a free dinner in the future for return of a sparkling review on our blog. :).
It was quite a low key affair so a subtle, classy outfit was the best option. I decided to work the monochrome trend I’ve seen in so many of the glossies recently. A serious lack of funds (due to our house move!) meant I couldn’t really justify buying something new for the occasion so I rummaged around in the darkest depths of my wardrobe (likened to Mary Poppins’ forever deep carpet bag!) to see what I could find. The rummaging resulted in the outfit pictured. I’m quite proud to confirm there were no shops visited in the making of this outfit!
I’m wearing; white tuxedo jacket from H&M (last winter), white silk cami from Zara (last summer), black skinny tailored pants from Primark (last winter), leather strappy shoes from Next (last summer) and snake print clutch from Warehouse (2 years ago! I even impressed myself with this one!).
As we are approaching summer there are a number of white jackets on the high street. My jacket is quite literally a wardrobe staple. Throw it on to instantly add a chic feel to any outfit! Here are a couple which have caught my eye, happy shopping!
